Highlights
Xiaomi Redmi K60 was well-received by mobile gamers and performance lovers. Now, Xiaomi brings the all-new Redmi K70 with a few fine upgrades. One of the most exciting features in this gadget is that it is offering a 4000 nits peak brightness screen which is the highest in the industry, according to Xiaomi. It keeps the same QHD+ OLED screen with HDR10+ and 68 billion colors support. That is an extraordinary and a proper flagship-killer screen. The design has a boxy shape, and the backside is most likely made of glass.
Camera hasn’t been the primary focus of the K series. But we still have OIS, ultrawide lens and up to 8K video recording facility for the 50+8+2 MP primary camera. The 16 MP front facing camera is very standard. The phone is providing all the advanced connectivity features such as 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Infrared, etc. There is a color spectrum sensor, fine audio output and an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.
Now let’s come to the exciting part, performance. Redmi K70 packs a 5000 mAh battery with Xiaomi advanced battery and power management for increased battery life. There is no wireless charging but the 120W wired charger takes a maximum of 18 minutes to fully charge the gadget. We are setting a top-grade chipset like Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) with up to 16 GB RAM. Cooling system is added as usual to keep it cool while having long gaming sessions or for graphics-intensive activities. The storage type is upgraded to UFS 4.0 with up to 1 TB capacity. We are getting the latest Android 14 with the all-new Xiaomi HyperOS UI. This is what you’d call a proper performance master.
