Highlights
Tecno Spark 20C comes with a few charming colors. If you like gradient finish, pick the mystery white model. Those who like darker tones choose the gravity black option. The alpenglow gold color has a shiny, glowing effect to it and the magic skin color is a greenish tone. As you can see from the pictures above, it has an iPhone-like rear camera module. The center punch-hole in the screen turns into a “dynamic port” to show you charging status, but you can turn it off also if that’s annoying for you. Even though this kind of design isn’t that uncommon anymore, it still stands out. You can consider it if you are looking for the freshest, fashionable style. The screen is a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS one with a 90Hz refresh rate support.
The 50 MP primary camera wins a compliment. It should provide you with better details, brightness and focus than many of the lower cost smartphones. 1/2.8” large sensor and 6P high light transmission allows the camera to capture finer details and shadows. There is also an HDR feature for higher level of clarity. The 8 MP selfie camera comes with a dual-LED flash for superior nighttime shots. There is a beauty enhancement feature which you may or may not like. On one side, it gives polished pictures but on the other side, it compromises on the natural skin and color tones.
The device runs on a 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 octa-core CPU and a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. We do not recommend at all for mobile gaming lovers. If you want to play games like PUBG, Free Fire etc. you have to pick at least a Unisoc T606 chipset which is more powerful and abundant in its price range. It has 4 and 8 GB RAM options with the same amount of added virtual RAM, but 8 GB will not do much good with the Helio G36 chipset. If you value performance, this phone isn’t made for you. But the 5000 mAh battery and 18W fast charger are of advantage as many phones will give you a 10W charger. Apart from that, the audio quality is pleasing.
