Highlights
Oppo Find X7 is a phone with true wow factor. Class is oozing through its design. Some people would ask should I grab an iPhone or this and the truth is there is no comparison between these two. These are phones from two different dimensions. You are the one who makes a choice which dimension to pick based on your own taste and reasonings. Then it’s all about what you add to it, but you’ll get full support from this device in terms of style, durability, performance, camera and so on. Speaking of design, if you just look at it, it’s hard to get over it. It’s something that one would want to carry, proudly so. It’s very beautiful, unique and charming. We are provided with an IP65 rated water resistant body, a curved screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, an aluminum metal frame and a glass or eco-leather backside (depending on the color).
The 6.78-inch screen is providing 1.5K resolution. Yes, you’ll probably miss that extra color depth of a higher Quad HD+ screen. There is still an LTPO AMOLED panel, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, TÜV Rheinland certified eye comfort / low blue light so, you won’t be disappointed and this is more than fair for the cost. In the primary camera module, we have three lenses: a 50 MP main lens, a 64 MP 70mm periscope telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom and a 50 MP 119º ultrawide lens, all showing off Hasselblad Color Calibration. There is up to 4K@60fps video recording capability with gyro EIS, HDR, 10‑bit video and Dolby Vision. The 32 MP selfie camera also supports 4K recording, but here with a maximum of 30 frames per second and EIS. These are some of the best cameras you’ll get for the price and if you like the style of the phone and enjoy taking photos, you can grab it with confidence.
Battery and charging are up to the mark with 5000 mAh capacity and 100W charger (26 minutes for a full charge). We got a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset which is the no. 1 most powerful smartphone chipset of the world according to Nanoreview and various benchmark score platforms (as of January 2024). So, you are getting maximum here. 12 GB RAM will be fine but if you want full peace of mind, there is also a 16 GB RAM variant. Storage option is up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 (fastest in the industry). There is also Wi-Fi 7 support for the fastest Wi-Fi connectivity. The newest Android 14 runs the device and a few years of further OS upgrades are expected.
